About

whoami

Christian Lehnert - software developer, security researcher, and Linux enthusiast. I've been running Debian systems for over a decade and maintain a homelab where I experiment with infrastructure, automation, and security tooling.

My background spans system administration, software development, and cybersecurity. I believe in learning through hands-on experimentation and sharing knowledge with the community.

When I'm not deep in code or configuring systems, you'll find me hiking trails, reading philosophy, or exploring questions of faith and meaning.

Personal reflections:

the stack

This blog runs on a small Debian VPS that doubles as the load balancer for my homelab. Inbound traffic hits the VPS, gets terminated there, and is forwarded through a MikroTik router into the home network where the actual services live.

Boring tech, picked because it's reliable. If something breaks at 3am, I want tools I already know how to debug.
